For Parents & Grown-Ups

Privacy & Parent Information

A plain-language note about what this website stores when you use it, why, and who provides the services behind it. Written for parents — because this site is for families.

Who this site is for

The Funvision videos are made for young children, but this website — including the contact form and the Rhyme Maker — is for parents and adults. If you use these features, please enter your own details, not your child's. Please don't enter children's names, ages or any other personal information about a child anywhere on this site.

Contact form — what we store and why

When you send the contact form, we store three things in our website database: the name you enter, your email address, and your message, along with the date and time it was sent. We use this only to read and respond to your message.

Sending the form also asks our email provider to forward a copy of your message to the site owner's inbox, with your email address set as the reply-to so the owner can answer you. That email delivery is handled by Resend, through Emergent's managed email service.

We don't add you to a mailing list, and your message is not shown publicly anywhere on the site.

Rhyme Maker — what we store and why

The Rhyme Maker on the Songs page sends the theme you type to an AI language model (OpenAI's GPT, connected through Emergent's integration service) which writes a short rhyme. The theme you enter and the rhyme that comes back are stored in our website database so the site owner can see what the tool produces.

Your theme is processed by OpenAI to generate the rhyme; we can't make promises about what OpenAI does with the data it processes, so please keep themes simple and free of personal details.

Rhymes are AI-generated and unedited — please read any rhyme yourself before sharing it with a child.

How long information is kept

Contact messages and generated rhymes are stored in the site database so the owner can review them. We haven't set fixed deletion timeframes yet; if you'd like a message or rhyme you submitted to be removed, just ask using the contact form and we'll take care of it.

Watching videos — YouTube and TikTok

Videos on this site are embedded from YouTube, and the follow buttons take you to YouTube and TikTok. When you watch or follow, you're using those platforms, and their own privacy policies apply to what they collect — this website doesn't control that.

A note on content

We make our videos to be cheerful and gentle, but every child is different. We always recommend that a grown-up watches along, or checks the channel first, to decide what's right for their family.
